In a bizarre partnership that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "A strange confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome changes echo through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret sect.

The questline focuses on "strange tests and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer ends with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Additional Material

Players who finish the quest will acquire an unique katana alongside numerous items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
