Incredible $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream
Following a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options offered in this deal.
Primary Feature
The big draw is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.
A regional fantasy map generated in Campaign Cartographer 3+.
Package Levels
Entry Level
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. Mid-Range Option
The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Charitable Component
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options appear near the page top, though users may also choose any amount for a donation on the right side of the page. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down immediately below, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
